Adult Beginners’ Sewing Classes

Friendly, practical sewing classes for adults who want to learn a new skill, become more confident with their sewing machine or return to sewing after a break.

Complete beginners are welcome. You will receive patient, step-by-step guidance while learning essential sewing-machine skills and working on a structured beginner-friendly project.

Projects and techniques will vary and may include cushions, tote bags, zipped pouches, bunting, simple alterations and useful home accessories.

Class information

• Suitable for adults aged 18+

• Complete beginners are welcome

• £20 per person, per session

• Fabric for the class project is included

• Please bring your own working sewing machine and basic sewing tools

• Sewing machines and tools are not provided

• Places are limited to eight adults

Please ensure your sewing machine is in safe working order before attending.

Classes require a minimum of four participants. If the minimum is not reached, we will contact you at least 48 hours beforehand and offer either a transfer to another available date or a full refund.
